Captools/net can automatically run a number of regular tasks at a pre-scheduled time.  This reduces the effort required to operate the program and also permits these tasks to be performed at a time when they will have minimal impact on users who need to access data during the workday.

 

Scheduled tasks can be set up and controlled only by users who have been designated as having Data Administrator rights (users of single-users versions of the program automatically have these rights).  The scheduled tasks are accessed and controlled from the Captools/net Home, as an item under Admin Operations:
